Also in Greece one celebrates carnival!
40 days before Greek Easter at the Carnival Sunday the traditional Carnival Parades takes place in the artist village of Gialtra. It begins at the village entrance and ends to the Platia. So that all could start strengthened into the Fete, an attractive and varied Buffet invited to enjoying. The Buffet is cared for by the women of the woman federation. A multicolored program from singing, music and dance provided for a tendencyful afternoon. Dance demonstrations of the Trachtengruppe from Edipsos framed the program. The final event will be the burning of the Carnival King in a big bonfire as everyone dances around it.
